End the Christmas season with a last visit to the Christmas market in Innsbruck’s old town. This is also where the first preparations for Innsbruck’s mountain New Year’s Eve take place, which attracts many visitors every year on New Year’s Eve.
There are five ski areas around Hall-Innsbruck: Glungezer, Nordkette (ideal for snowboarders), Patscherkofel, Axamer Lizum (Olympic run), Schlick2000 (Stubaital) – a different area for almost every day. There are ski passes for only one ski area and also combinations (e.g. Olympia ski pass for Glungezer and Axamer Lizum). For children we can recommend a ski course in the Kinderland Rinn.
For non-skiers the old town of Hall offers many sights, with the bus line 501 (every 30 minutes) it is only 8km to Innsbruck. A visit to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds or the silver mine in Schwaz is worth seeing. Hiking and walking trails as well as cross-country skiing trails are located in Gnadenwald at approx. 1000m.
