“Astrostammtisch” which means regular meetings about astronomy and so on
Since February 2000 the amateur and hobby astronomers of the surrounding area have been meeting at the Astrobar in the Hotel Heiligkreuz.
Every Thursday at 7 pm is time for “Astrostammtisch“. In addition to the astronomical exchange of experiences, other topics are also often hotly discussed – a real “Stammtisch”. Visitors are cordially invited.
Weerberg Observatory
From 1994 to 2012 the Heiligkreuz Observatory was located in the hotel garden in Hall. Unfortunately, the observation conditions have become increasingly worse due to more and more light.
Since 2017 an astronomical dome with powerful telescopes and cooled cameras for astrophotography has been standing at Weerberg. The observatory is fully remote controllable, i.e. via the Internet, so we can control it remotely from the valley.
Who would like to learn more about the observatory, is cordially invited to the Astrostammtisch on Thursday at the hotel bar.
