Winter in the Alps

The surrounding ski areas are varied for beginners and advanced skiers.

When the sun shines for only three to four hours in most valleys in January, the inhabitants and guests of Hall in Tyrol in the sunny Inn Valley enjoy this twice as long. On the surrounding mountains near Hall and Innsbruck you will find downhill runs for skiers and snowboarders – from beginner slopes to steep slopes for real experts. Up-to-date information is available at the hotel (also about ski courses and ski rental).

All listed ski areas can be reached quickly (journey times from 15 to 40 minutes depending on the area).

Glungezerbahn

Glungezer - the local mountain south of Hall, approx. 8 km away by car or ski bus. A good value ski area for families and excellent for ski touring. With the guest card you receive the reduced group price. New 2020/2021 - new lift and perfekt snow.

Patscherkofelbahn

Patscherkofel - the new railway south of Hall/Innsbruck. Skiing pleasure on Olympic and World Cup-tested downhill runs for all levels of ability.

Nordkettenbahn

Nordkette - can be reached from Hall by bus line 504 or by car. The snowboarder Eldorado north of Innsbruck with the corresponding scene. Sloping and steep - recommended for advanced snowboarders.

Mutterer Alm

Mutterer Alm - Familiar cosiness and a varied, manageable offer. The many evenly steep slopes are especially suitable for families with children, beginners and skiers with little practice.

Schlick2000

The Schlick - Family-friendly skiing area in Fulpmes in the Stubaital. Free of charge accessible from Innsbruck by the Stubaitalbahn, with your own car via the motorway in approx. 20 minutes. For the Schlick you can get the day ticket at the reception at a reduced hotel price.

Axamer Lizum

Axamer Lizum - the snow-sure ski resort near Innsbruck. Today a practice area and snow park, tomorrow a funway, moguls or deep snow ... - only the Axamer Lizum offers so much variety!

Hochfügen

Hochfügen - You will find the best conditions on 145 km of slopes and 33 lifts. Quickly accessible at the beginning of the Zillertal (40 minutes by car).

Kühtai

Kühtai - Skiing at over 2020 meters! The sun and ski paradise of Kühtai is one of the most renowned winter sports resorts in Tyrol. Guaranteed snow from December to May; 40 minutes by car.

Stubaier Gletscher

Stubai Glacier - Those who are "hot on white" and are looking for excellent winter sports conditions will find attractive offers at the Stubai Glacier all year round. Austria's largest glacier ski area can be reached in 45 minutes.

Region Hall-Wattens in Tyrol

From December till end of March there will be guided winter hikes as part of the winter holiday activities. A special experience. Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Please book this with your reservation – with the guest card the participation is free of charge.
